When I was a child I used to play all the time, I did not like going to the kindergarden becouse I felt scared and I just wanted being with my mom. Now I am a teenager, I am 17 years old and I am studing at the university. Before, when I was a child I had more time than now because I had not as much homeworks as now but now I know more people than when I was a child. I remember that when I was 10 years old I went out just with my family but now I go out with more people than before.

Being a teenager is more complicated than being a child becouse a teenager has to be more responsable and independ than a child. Besides to be a good teenager I have to think that my future depends from all that I do now. In conclution, to be a child is easier than to be a teenager but to be a teenager is funniest.

Comparing Colombia whit USA

Colombia was colonized by Spain in sixtheen century and United States was colonized by England at the same century. Becouse of this, United States is more developed country than Colombia. USA has more oportunities to work than Colombia because people can work anywhere and at any age, but in Colombia the people who can work mut be less than 40 years old and only can work in specific places. In Colombia the food is more delicious becouse people use to cook, but in USA people prefer going to the restaurants. Colombia has more beautiful landscapes than USA and finally, Colombia people are more friendly than USA people.

Alexander Fleming

ALEXANDER FLEMING

He was born in 1881, he was a Scottish biologist and pharmacologist. Fleming published many articles on bacteriology, immunology, and chemotherapy, he descovered lisozime protein and peniceline antibiotic. He is an important person in the inmunology and the phisiology sciences. In 1924 he discovered lisozime protein in one of his experiments, when he discovered it nobody believed it, becouse all of his most importants discoveries were based in detailed observations. Then, in 1928 he discovered one of the most important antibiotic in the XXI century, the Peniciline. In 1945 he was nobel in phisiology and inmunology. He dead in 1955 in Londres.

Jorge reynolds pombo, an important Colombian person

JORGE REYNOLDS POMBO

He was born in December 10 of 1957. He studied school classes at Bogotá, Colombia. He made his university studies at Trinity College, Cambridge and England, there, in England, he graduated as electronic engineer.

He made and designs the first Colombian pacemaker in 1958. Also at this year he began the “Fundación Shaio”, he created the electronic engineering Department.

He has organized until the moment thirty and eight expeditions in the country and outside to make studies and investigations in the heart of different terrestrial and aquatic animal species.
Since 1991 six Submarine Cruises of Acoustic Investigation have been made in Heart of whales, using the oceanic submarines of the National Navy of Colombia like platform for the acoustic studies of the whales, with support of some ships of the Navy to facilitate the investigation, in a very narrow collaboration with the National Navy, around twenty and five years.

In 1999 has been designed a pacemaker for the trombosis prevention.
At this moment he studies for the design of “nanopacemaker”, in which the Dr Jorge León Galindo takes part and a very important group of specialists.

The Doctor Reynolds Pombo has numerous achivements of the national and international community. In October of 2003, he received the Honoris Doctorate from the San Martín University.
It is member of 42 scientific societies in Colombia and the outside. It is member of the Academy of Sciences of New York from 1989, Member of the Colombian Academy of Exact, Physical and Natural Sciences also from 1989 and Member Associated of the National Medicine Academy from 2004.

About me :)

Hello, my name is Diana Carolina Cardona, I am seventeen. I am studing medicine in Sabana University, I am in second semester. First, I like being whit my friends and my family, also I like going to dance and to the cinema. I really like being whit Catalina, who is my best friends and I love her. Now I am very happy becouse I am studing wich I like, medicine is very nice, beautiful and responsable carrier, wich I choiced for those reasons.
I live whit my mom and my dog and now I have boyfriend, his name is Jorge and he also study medicine.
I am good at dancing almost all types of music, also I am good playing piano and swiming. I am quite good playing some sports like tennis and football and really I am not good at cooking, which is bouring and sometimes dificult.

About my favourite food...

I really like eating hamburger which is delicious, I like the spaguetti and fruits, especially the strawberries, watermelon, orange, handle, mandarin, pear, apple and cherries. The strawberries are substantial and sweet. I dont like vegetables, specially brocoli and the cucumber, I either dont like eating pig.

About music...

I listen all kinds of music, but my favourites types of music are pop and rock. I really like one singer, she is an excelent musician and a nice person, her name is Julieta Venegas, she is from Mexico. The last year I went to a concert wich was excelent becouse I could sing all their songs wich are beatiful and funny.

When I am going to sleep...

Perhaps all days I go to sleep at 11 or 12 p.m., before, I eat something like a glass of milk with cookies. I can sleep only 5 or 6 hours because always I wake up at 4:45 am. Friday in the afternoon I sleep 2 or 3 hours because is the end of the week and I have to rest. In the night I use to clean my face.

In the weekend, I wake up at 7 or 8 a.m. because I have to study eight hours each day.
